Kindy Uplift funding is wonderfully being used to help support children’s development and growth in kindergarten.
The Kindy Songs Program is a well-rounded program which aligns itself with the key priority areas of Kindy Uplift. Please review our alignment points below to help make an informed decision on if this program is right for your centre and fits your funding criteria.
- We are a culturally safe and inclusive program
– We learn about how our strengths come together as one and promote being unique
– We learn about coming together to support our community - Our program is all about working together, and feeling our emotions! We share, pick up on social cues, help each other, and respectfully work with one another
- Our program encourages children to focus not only mentally on the task, but physically – by providing equipment for the kids to interact with and keep safe during their recording session. We use gentle hands, and talk about how our actions can affect our outcomes.
- Language, Pronounciation, and Comprehension! Our sessions give children the opportunity to hear themselves as they speak and sing! This self awareness guides their minds to comprehending the way they pronounce words and form sentances.
- We love to count! Our songs quite regularly include counting and appreciating the world of mathematics and numeracy. Music after all is a beat we must count!
- During our sessions, your Educators have the opportunity to assess individual students as they sing and speak. The completed songs also provide your classroom with a wonderful track to play daily and build confidence, inclusivity, safety and self awareness, kindness, respectfulness and JOY! Children absolutely love to hear themselves and their friends on this song as they clean up, get ready for morning circle, or simply rock-out to their own positive messages.
- Family is a huge part of our program, too! We love to thank our parents, siblings, and even pets in our songs! The completed songs are provided to your centre to distribute to parents/ guardians at your leisure through a password protected web page. The kids and their guardians can engage together by enjoying the songs we create each term, building healthy connections and memories for life! In addition, we distribute the songs safely and annonymously on streaming platforms (Spotify, Youtube Music, Amazon Music, Apple Music) so children can share their songs with familiy members overseas with ease.
- With our Create & Sing Program, we invite children to create artwork based on how they feel from the song they are creating with us. This opens up an opportunity for them to express themselves not just musically, but artistically.
- With our Ceate & Sing Program, we invite children to create movement to the song we are creating with them. We practice the movements, use our memories, and create a performance piece which is presented as a Music Video Clip (permission is required from parents for the music video clip to be released on our password protected webpage). This activity does not require to be recorded.
